What we collect
Only what you send us, plus the basic logs that keep the site running.
- Email to us: if you email us, we get your email address and whatever you write.
- Email updates: if you sign up, we get your email address, plus your first name if you give it.
- Server logs: our web host keeps basic logs, like most websites. That's your IP address, browser, the pages you asked for and the time.
We don't ask for your parent's health or financial information, and we don't want it. The Parent Crisis Binder is a printable you fill in on paper.
How we use it
- To answer your email and send what you ask for.
- To send the updates you signed up for. We don't use your email for anything else.
- To keep the site running and safe.
Who sees it
Our web host stores the site and its server logs for us as our service provider. Our signup form is run by Tally (tally.so), which stores the form entries for us as our service provider. We send the updates from our own email account. Tally handles your information under its own privacy policy. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, such as to answer a valid subpoena or court order, or when needed to protect the site or its visitors. We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for targeted advertising.
Email updates
We keep your email address and first name until you unsubscribe or we stop sending updates. Then we delete them within 30 days. To unsubscribe, reply to any update or email info@agingparentsnext.com with "Unsubscribe". We'll take you off within 10 business days, and usually much sooner. We never sell your email or share it for targeted advertising.
Cookies and analytics
We don't use analytics or tracking cookies, and our own code doesn't set any cookies. The signup form on our binder page is loaded from Tally, and Tally may use cookies or similar technology to make the form work, under its own policy. Sites we link to may set their own.
Do Not Track
Our site doesn't change how it works in response to Do Not Track signals.
Your choices
To see, fix or delete information you've sent us, email info@agingparentsnext.com. We'll reply within 30 days.
Kids
Aging Parents Next is for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll post the changes here and update the effective date at the top.
